Life partners are turning into tennis partners at Wimbledon. Stefanos Tsitsipas and Paula Badosa and well as Alex de Minaur and Katie Boulter are competing in the mixed doubles draw at The Championships.

Tsitsipas and Badosa recently made public their relationship and they have wasted no time getting on court together. They will play top seeds Austin Krajicek and Jessica Pegula in the first round. Tsitsipas is also playing men’s doubles alongside brother Petros Tsitsipas.

“It’s honestly a pleasure to be doing this with people, some of them have entered my life recently,” Tsitsipas said after his first-round singles win against Dominic Thiem. “I would have never done it if it wasn’t for that. So Paulita, let’s do it.”

De Minaur and Boulter, longtime partners, will compete alongside one another for the first time. The Australian-British team will face Australians John Peers and Storm Hunter in the first round.
